Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Data Migration Engineer to support a large-scale ERP transition by planning, executing, and validating migration of data from multiple legacy systems into a new enterprise platform. The role requires strong ownership of end-to-end migration activities, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyse legacy system data structures and define mapping rules aligned to the new ERP model.
* Design and execute ETL workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
* Plan and run trial migrations, validate outputs, and reconcile results against source systems.
* Drive data cleansing and de-duplication efforts to improve overall data quality before migration.
* Define and implement archival strategies for legacy data not moved to the new platform.
* Maintain detailed documentation, validation records, and traceability across all migration activities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (implementation, validation, QA, and business stakeholders) during preparation, testing, and cutover phases.
* Support final cutover and stabilization, ensuring smooth transition into the production environment.

Key Skills & Experience

* Proven experience in ERP data migration programs (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar).
* Strong hands-on expertise in ETL tools, SQL, and data transformation techniques.
* Experience with data mapping, data quality improvement, de-duplication, and archival processes.
* Familiarity with integration platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend, SSIS) and cloud-based ERP environments.
* Understanding of validation processes, audit readiness, and structured documentation practices.
* Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
* Good communication skills and ability to work across technical and business teams.

* Well-defined data migration strategy and execution plan.
* Clean, validated, and reconciled data migrated into the new ERP platform.
