Frontend Developer - React

Location: Oslo, Norway (on-site preferred)

About the role

We are working with a private technology company in Oslo that is expanding its in-house engineering team. They are building a cloud-based SaaS product used by commercial customers and are now hiring a Software Engineer to replace a long-term consultant and support ongoing growth.

You will join a small, collaborative product team where engineers have real ownership and influence over what gets built.

What you'll be doing

Developing and improving customer-facing web interfaces
*

Contributing to UX and interaction design decisions
*

Building backend functionality and APIs
*

Working with data flows and system integrations
*

Collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements
*

Delivering features end-to-end in a modular, evolving product

Around 80 percent of the role is hands-on development.

Tech environment

*

Frontend: React and TypeScript (experience with Angular or similar frameworks is welcome)
*

Backend: Java
*

Cloud: Azure

Experience as a Software Engineer (ideally 5+ years, but flexible for strong candidates)

Strong frontend skills with interest in building intuitive user experiences

Backend experience and comfort working with APIs

Experience working on cloud-based products
