Analyst Programmer - BI

Our client, a leading organization undertaking major digital transformation initiatives, is seeking an experienced Analyst Programmer / Sr Analyst Programmer (Business Intelligence) to join their high-performing team. In this key role, you will:

* Develop and enhance web-based application systems on robust, high-availability platforms.
* Review, re-engineer, and migrate legacy source code to modern frameworks (EJB / Java EE).
* Prepare and maintain system and program documentation, including specifications and project reports.
* Participate in functional testing, debugging, and system assurance activities.
* Join user workshops to review business requirements and confirm system specifications/test cases.
* Assist in system analysis and design, contributing to overall technical architecture.
* Support BI system and reporting software implementation, ensuring successful deployment and user adoption.
* Conduct UAT support, ensuring smooth project delivery and rollout.



To be successful, you should have:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent discipline.
* Hands-on experience in system development using at least two of the following: Java / J2EE / EJB Framework, etc., on Linux or Windows servers.
* Experience in implementing FanRuan FineBI or Crystal Report or other BI tools.
* Ability to produce clear technical documentation, project reports, and specifications.
* Able to communicate with Cantonese and English.
* Immediate Starter is highly preferred.
