Company Overview:
We are a diversified, multi-division food and agriculture organization with operations spanning
production, processing, manufacturing, and distribution. The company is making significant
long-term investments in modernizing its business systems and is standardizing its processing
divisions onto Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Business Central is currently used internally for accounting and select manufacturing operations.
A major Business Central implementation is scheduled to go live at two production facilities on
January 1, 2026. Following this deployment, additional divisions will transition from legacy
systems onto Business Central, with further optimization and system enhancements planned
across existing sites.

The company continues to grow, expand, and acquire new business units, creating long-term
opportunity and ongoing ERP project work.

Role Summary
The IT Business Systems Analyst will act as the internal subject matter expert for Microsoft
Dynamics NAV and Business Central. This position leads Business Central implementations
across multiple processing and manufacturing sites, working closely with operations and finance
teams to define requirements and ensure the system supports key functions such as
manufacturing, costing, inventory, QA, and financial processes.
A strong understanding of costing - including standard costing, production costing, and
inventory valuation - is required. This role will guide costing structure decisions and ensure
accurate costing configuration throughout all Business Central deployments.
This is a permanent, long-term role with ongoing ERP implementations, cross-division
optimization efforts, and significant growth of system usage across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Implementation & System Ownership
 Lead Business Central implementations across multiple processing facilities.
 Configure and guide costing structures across items, BOMs, routings, and production
workflows.
 Collaborate with operations, finance, warehousing, and QA teams to gather and refine
requirements.
 Develop, review, and interpret Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
 Coordinate with development partners for customizations, integrations, and data
migration.
 Support system testing, training, troubleshooting, and post-go-live stabilization.

Process & System Optimization
 Evaluate current Business Central and NAV setups, recommending improvements.
 Optimize existing deployments based on operational learnings and new requirements.
 Standardize processes across divisions while supporting unique operational needs.
 Identify opportunities for automation, workflow improvements, and system
enhancements.

Operational Support
 Provide ongoing support for accounting, manufacturing, logistics, and QA users.
 Serve as the organization's primary subject matter expert on costing.
 Troubleshoot issues related to production, costing, inventory, and financial reporting.
 Create documentation, SOPs, training materials, and process guides.

Project Leadership
 Oversee project timelines, deliverables, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional
alignment.
 Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure successful implementation
outcomes.
 Provide routine project updates to leadership throughout each implementation phase.
Required Qualifications
 Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics
NAV.
 Strong costing expertise, including standard cost, production cost, WIP, cost
adjustments, and inventory valuation.
 Experience leading or meaningfully contributing to full-cycle ERP implementations.
 Ability to write, review, and interpret Functional Design Documents.
 Strong understanding of manufacturing, inventory, warehousing, or financial processes.
 Project management experience with cross-functional coordination.
 Experience with integrations using Microsoft technologies.
 Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
 Ability and willingness to travel regularly for go-lives, site visits, and seasonal
operational work.

Preferred Qualifications
 Experience in food manufacturing, process manufacturing, or agriculture-related
operations.
 Familiarity with AL or C/AL is helpful but not required.
