Tech Lead - Product Engineering (Vejle, Denmark)

We're supporting a fast‑growing, product‑led technology company in Vejle that is hiring a talented Tech Lead to help scale one of their core engineering teams. This is a role for someone who loves solving complex problems, shaping architecture, and enabling a team of skilled engineers to do their best work.

About the Role

As Tech Lead, you will be the technical backbone of a cross‑functional squad. You'll work hands‑on with engineers, designers, and product managers to build high‑quality software, guide architectural decisions, and ensure best practices across the stack.

You will:

* Lead technical decision‑making and architectural direction for your squad.
* Work closely with engineers to remove blockers and ensure smooth delivery.
* Collaborate with Product on shaping scope, feasibility and technical trade‑offs.
* Ensure systems are scalable, secure, well‑tested and designed for growth.
* Promote modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automation, observability, code quality).
* Be a sparring partner for Engineering Managers on skills, competencies and team development.
* Contribute hands‑on in the codebase where needed, leading by example.

Who You Are

You're an experienced engineer or tech lead who enjoys enabling others just as much as solving technical challenges. You bring:

* Strong experience in modern backend development (.NET/C#).
* Solid understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems or microservices (Azure, AWS or GCP)
* A pragmatic approach to balancing speed and long‑term quality.
* Excellent communication skills, able to simplify the complex.
* A collaborative mindset and a passion for helping teams succeed.
* Experience with frontend frameworks (React or similar) is a plus, not a requirement.
