Senior Developer

About the role

An established and growing frontend- and design-focused consultancy is scaling its team in Stavanger due to increased client and project demand. You will join cross-functional teams delivering modern, user-centric digital solutions for well-known public and private sector clients.

The company works closely with a larger engineering partner, where frontend specialists focus on UX, design, and client-facing applications, while backend-heavy work is handled by partner teams. This creates a strong environment for frontend developers who want depth, influence, and ownership.

They are looking to hire multiple frontend consultants over the coming months.

Responsibilities

Design and build modern frontend applications for high-profile clients
*

Work primarily with React, while collaborating across teams using other JS frameworks where relevant
*

Take part in the full lifecycle from idea and design through to production
*

Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product stakeholders
*

Contribute to frontend architecture, code quality, and best practices
*

Stay curious and engaged with new frontend technologies and patterns

Required experience

*

5+ years of frontend development experience
*

Strong experience with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks
*

React experience preferred, but Angular or Vue backgrounds are also considered if you are motivated to work with React
*

Solid understanding of modern frontend concepts, APIs, and state management
*

Comfortable working in consulting-style client projects

Nice to have

*

Experience with Azure or cloud-based platforms
*

Experience working closely with designers and design systems
*

Norwegian language skills are desirable
