Solution Architect

We're working with an established Norwegian technology company that is investing heavily in the development of modern software platforms and digital services. They are looking for a Solution Architect to play a key role in shaping future systems, guiding technical decisions, and working closely with both development teams and stakeholders across the business.

The Role

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing robust and scalable solutions across a modern Microsoft technology stack. You'll act as the bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that architecture decisions align with long-term strategic goals.

You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and leadership teams to define architecture standards, improve system integrations, and drive best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and maintain solution architecture for business-critical applications
* Define technical roadmaps and architectural standards
* Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Guide development teams on architecture, design patterns, and best practices
* Evaluate and recommend new technologies and frameworks
* Ensure scalability, security, maintainability, and performance across solutions
* Contribute to cloud and integration strategies

What We're Looking For

* Strong experience with .NET and C#
* Previous experience in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Senior Developer position
* Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
* Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
* Strong knowledge of APIs, integrations, and distributed systems
* Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience working within agile development environments
