IT/ERP Manager - Farmingdale, NY - $150k

A growing pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead day-to-day technology operations while helping drive a major enterprise transformation initiative. The company currently operates on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and is in the planning stages of a future SAP implementation, creating an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technology leader to play a significant role in the organization's evolution.

This position will oversee IT infrastructure, business applications, compliance, cybersecurity, vendor management, and strategic technology initiatives while partnering closely with executive leadership, operations, quality, warehousing, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the organization's IT operations, systems, infrastructure, and support functions.
* Lead technology planning and execution aligned with business objectives and growth initiatives.
* Serve as the primary IT liaison to business stakeholders across manufacturing, distribution, quality, finance, and supply chain.
* Support and administer Microsoft Dynamics NAV while helping prepare the organization for a future SAP migration.
* Participate in ERP roadmap development, system selection activities, business process assessments, and implementation planning.
* Oversee third-party vendors, consultants, and managed service providers.
* Manage IT budgets, capital expenditures, and technology investments.
* Implement and maintain cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity programs.
* Ensure compliance with applicable pharmaceutical industry regulations and validation requirements.
* Support warehouse operations, inventory management, and system integrations across the supply chain.
* Lead technology projects from requirements gathering through implementation and user adoption.
* Develop IT policies, procedures, governance standards, and documentation.

Desired Qualifications

* 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience within manufacturing, distribution, life sciences, healthcare, or a regulated environment.
* Strong experience supporting and administering Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
* Exposure to SAP implementations, migrations, or ERP transformation initiatives strongly preferred.
* Experience supporting warehouse management, inventory control, and distribution operations.
* Understanding of pharmaceutical, FDA-regulated, GMP, or GxP environments.
* Knowledge of computer system validation (CSV), 21 CFR Part 11, data integrity, and audit readiness is highly desirable.
* Experience managing infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud applications, and enterprise software platforms.
* Proven success leading cross-functional projects and managing external vendors.
* Strong business acumen with the ability to translate operational requirements into technology solutions.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
