D365 SCM Stream Lead

Role Summary

Our client is seeking two Application Specialists or Stream Leads to support and advance their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) platform. These roles will help shape the organisation's operating model for product teams, contributing to structure, governance, and consistent ways of working as the D365 landscape evolves.

The specialists will collaborate with product teams, business stakeholders, and IT colleagues to translate requirements into secure, scalable solutions. As Stream Leads, they will drive progress within their respective functional areas and ensure alignment with agile practices and organisational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

* Translate business needs into effective solution designs
* Configure and customise the D365 SCM platform
* Perform unit, functional, and integration testing
* Lead and coordinate progress within the assigned functional stream
* Support process owners with documentation and process refinement
* Apply security best practices across solution design
* Collaborate across teams to enable smooth system integrations
* Demonstrate platform functionality through sprint demos and CRPs
* Coordinate with Product Owners and escalate issues when required
* Contribute to agile routines, including backlog and sprint management
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, particularly within AI and automation

Candidate Profile

Our client is looking for structured, solution‑oriented professionals with strong Dynamics 365 capability and an interest in contributing to an evolving product‑team environment.

Key Qualifications:

* University degree in IT or a related field
* 5-10 years of experience in similar roles (one mid-level and one senior candidate possible)
* Deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, especially SCM modules
* Experience working within agile frameworks and global organisations
* Familiarity with AI, automation, and improvement initiatives
* Strong communication skills across both technical and business contexts
* Fluent English skills, written and spoken
* Service-minded, curious, and improvement‑driven mindset
* Experience supporting distributed/global teams is beneficial
