The role:

As a contractor, you'll help organisations unlock the value of their data by developing advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven solutions that support key business decisions and drive innovation.

Typical responsibilities include:

* Building and deploying machine learning and predictive analytics models
* Analysing large and complex datasets to generate actionable business insights
* Developing data-driven solutions to solve real-world business challenges
* Creating dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate findings effectively
* Collaborating with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders across the organisation
* Evaluating, optimising, and continuously improving model performance
* Supporting data strategy initiatives and identifying opportunities for AI adoption

What the client is looking for:

* Strong commercial experience within Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics
* Excellent Python and SQL skills
* Experience working with statistical modelling, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques
* Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
* Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
* Strong understanding of data manipulation and large-scale datasets
* Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently within a freelance/contract environment

Nice to have:

* Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
* Knowledge of MLOps and model deployment best practices
* Experience with Databricks, Spark, or other big data technologies
* Previous experience within automotive, technology, manufacturing, or digital product environments

The contract:

* Freelance
* Based in Gothenburg (hybrid setup)
* Competitive Hourly rate depending on experience
* Long-term project with strong extension potential
