Full Stack Developer - Up to £65k

London (*remote opportunity)

The company is a revolutionary flooring retailer with over 100 stores across the UK. They are seeking an experienced Full Stack / Web Developer to join their growing Tech team. The successful candidate will develop user-friendly, practical cloud solutions for business challenges and collaborate on exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop internal business applications for store and head office use.
* Collaborate with Product Owners to shape and optimize requirements.
* Recommend improvements for existing application designs.
* Train team members in web development.
* Build and maintain APIs for web applications.
* Write unit and component tests to ensure code quality.
* Utilize Azure CI/CD for efficient software releases.
* Enhance shared component libraries for reusability.
* Conduct code and peer reviews.
* Translate designs into functional components and improve software development processes.

Key skills / experience

* Experience with ASP.NET Core and frontend frameworks like React.
* Background in developing APIs and internal web applications, preferably in retail.
* Strong communication skills and team engagement.
* User-centric design approach with curiosity and enthusiasm for research.
* Ability to take on experimental projects and influence stakeholders.
* Focus on making technical decisions that increase profit and reduce waste.
