Senior Azure DevOps Engineer - Product Development



Opportunity for a talented Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join a large & reputable product development company.

Your role will be to work in a close knit team (40 employees in size) and transform their main software products into a modern Microservices / Cloud setup. An example of one of the products is a vehicle tracking system that makes use of AI technology & sensors to ensure safety protocols.

Requirements for this role:

* 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
* Strong Azure experience
* As many of the following as possible - Jenkins, Github, PowerShell, GitHub, Docker
* Strong IaC skills - preferably Bicep but other tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates etc is fine
* Programming background in C# is a nice plus
* Fluent in English



Responsibilities:

* Lead the DevOps practices of their R&D organisation, focusing on different types of products
* Lead and aid in designing software architecture centred around microservices, deployment, containerisation, integrations to systems in the ecosystem and solutions that will scale, and adapt to business needs both on the cloud and on-prem
* Research emerging technologies, industry trends, and methodologies to propose benefits and costs to decision-makers and watch as theory becomes practice
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams through Agile methodologies to design and implement solutions for complex procedures
* Mentor the organization on DevOps practices, sharing your knowledge and ensuring that your own knowledge propagates throughout the organisation
