Position: Software Developer

Location: Office-based in Stellenbosch (first 6-9 months), thereafter hybrid remote

Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our agile team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a vital role in the design, development, and maintenance of our live tracking software solutions. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and take ownership of your projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for live tracking devices using C#, .NET, AWS, JavaScript, React Native, and SQL.
* Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
* Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the stability and reliability of our software products.
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Software Developer with expertise in C#, .NET, AWS, JavaScript, React Native, and SQL.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Prior experience in the agriculture industry is a plus but not required.
