Lotus F1 Team has announced that they are joining forces with Microsoft for a three-year partnership, with immediate effect.
The Microsoft Dynamics logo is to feature prominently on both the Lotus F1 Team cars and the drivers’ overalls.
This is an unusually high profile move for Microsoft Dynamics and could demonstrate that Microsoft is driving towards some aggressive growth targets for their business solutions division, and is keen to raise awareness of the Dynamics products as part of their growth strategy.
Hal Howard of Microsoft Dynamics said Microsoft was “revved up about working with the Lotus F1 team”, which is an existing Dynamics AX customer.
Lotus F1 CEO, Patrick Louis, said: “Lotus F1 Team is extremely proud to have attracted Microsoft Dynamics as a business and sponsorship partner”.
The partnership will debut at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne Sunday 18th March.
