By Lina Arshad
After the success of last year, the Digital Revolution Awards are back and better than ever for 2022. With an aim to recognize and celebrate the biggest cloud superstars in the cloud computing space, we are keen to hear your nominations for this year’s awards.
Founded by global leaders in cloud talent solutions, Tenth Revolution Group, the Digital Revolution Awards first took place in February 2021, and the success spoke for itself. Managing to celebrate many great cloud professionals, we saw awards won for everything from Excellence in Learning and Development, to Outstanding Contributions to the AWS and Salesforce Ecosystems, and even an award for the Most Diverse and Inclusive Board of the Year.
And with many of these awards up for grabs again this year, we are keen to hear who you think has made a significant impact on the cloud ecosystem for the 2022 awards, whether it’s yourself, a colleague or a business you follow.
This year, nominations will recognize talent, innovation and determination in the following award categories:
- Tech Star of the Year
- Outstanding Leader of the Year
- Tech for Good
- Rapid Business Innovation Champion
- Diversity and Inclusion Employer of the Year
- Outstanding Contribution to the AWS Ecosystem
- Outstanding Contribution to the Microsoft Ecosystem
- Outstanding Contribution to Salesforce Ecosystem
- Excellence in Learning and Development
- Digital Transformation Project of the Year
- Cloud Technology Employer of the Year
So, if you or someone you know has excelled in any of these categories, nominations are now open and will close on September 30th 2021. All shortlisted finalists will be announced on December 6th 2021 and revealed publicly in a virtual ceremony on February 25th 2022.
The judge line-up for this year is jam-packed with great leaders from the cloud technology recruitment and software solution industries, so now is your time to impress and write a great nomination.
The panel already includes: Founder and Managing Director at Advanced AWS Consulting Partner Rebura, Aaron Rees; Speaker, Influencer and Marketing Thought Leader, Vladimer Botsvadze; EVP and Managing Director at NEXTGEN Asia, Wendy O’Keeffe; Channel Marketing Manager at Nutanix, Rowena Case; and Founder of Salesforceben.com, Ben McCarthy.
Even some of our very own will be completing the panel, including: President of Frank Recruitment Group, Zoë Morris; President at Revolent, Nabila Salem, and CIO of Tenth Revolution Group, Mark Hill. And there’s plenty more still to be announced, so keep your eyes peeled to find out who else might be reviewing your submission.
To ensure all nominations are considered and judged fairly, Tenth Revolution Group’s Chief Customer Officer, Daljit Bamford will be moderating the panel.
On the return of the Digital Revolution Awards, ceremony host and entrepreneur, and Founder & Principal Consultant at The Future is Greater, Maxine Nwaneri said: “I’m really excited to be involved in the awards again.
“It was a real pleasure to be part of an event that celebrated achievement, innovation, and progress in this vital space. I’m ready to dig into a new set of nominations and see what amazing things have been happening in the industry this year.”
Last year the awards were sponsored by several leading organizations across the cloud ecosystem, including Barclays Women in Technology, Brown Girl, SumUp, Copado and many more great names.
And, for the 2022 awards, we’re set to see plenty more great sponsors stepping up, including our very own Frank Recruitment Group, as well as our Rebura and Revolent divisions.
The 2021 panel crowned several top performers in the cloud ecosystem as breaking through the noise of the industry including Microsoft Partner, Barhead for the Outstanding Contribution to the Microsoft Ecosystem Award, as well as the likes of Co-Founder of Unily, Will Saville for the Barclays Women in Technology Outstanding Leadership Award CEO.
So, there’s plenty to look forward to for both applicants and judges alike. About the awards’ second year in service, Kashif Naqshbandi, Chief Marketing Officer at awards organizer Tenth Revolution Group said: “We were thrilled with the success of the first-ever Digital Revolution Awards earlier this year, and we can’t wait to get to work on the next event.
“Cloud technology will play a big part in helping us bounce back from such a difficult time. I’m looking forward to hearing from the cloud industry about their successes and achievements, and once again highlighting the outstanding efforts of our peers.
“The 2022 awards will be bigger and better, and hopefully we’ll be able to get together in some capacity on the big night and celebrate alongside some of our sponsors, judges, and nominees.”
