UX / UI Designer

I am currently working with my client on a brand new UX/UI designer role. This is an exciting role, to define, develop and own the UX & UI function in a fast-paced start-up environment.

You will be able to own and shape the design of the two existing customer-facing products and build up a strong understanding of the underlying data, customers and value provided by the current platform.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • A strong working knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools

  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of UI design techniques

  • Experience with mobile apps would be a bonus

  • Experience with HTML, CSS and jQuery would be a bonus

  • Brand design experience would be beneficial

  • Propose and sketch out a range of visual concepts both on paper and using software

  • Project Management experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Create user personas, user journeys and site maps

  • Ability to use Google Analytics to influence UI changes

  • Work on cross-platform applications to develop user experiences covering mobile phones,
    tablets and computers

  • Create wireframes and prototypes using specialist tools such as the Adobe XD, Invisionapp
    and Axure

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong understanding of UI design techniques and tools

  • A passion for Interaction Design - Meet with clients to gather information about their requirements


  • Work with the clients and development team to deliver attractive user interfaces across a
    range of client websites and mobile apps

  • Help to create UI design wireframes, mock ups and final designs across all desktop, mobile
    and tablet devices

  • Contribute to the agency's UI design style guide

  • Work with the Digital Analytics to assess the impact of any UI changes/improvements

  • Keep up to date with the latest UI design and usability trends and techniques

  • Conduct UI design and usability competitor analysis and reports
