An industry-leading data consultancy who are a Microsoft Gold Partner and Databricks Partner, are looking for an experienced Data Engineering Consultant to join their growing team.

They are highly-regarded in the data community, specialising in delivering cutting-edge analytical solutions primarily on the Azure cloud platform, leveraging their expertise in areas such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Databricks.

You'll be joining an esteemed team of industry experts and Microsoft MVPs who are extremely passionate about what they do and are real pioneers within the industry, striving to push the boundaries of what's possible.

They're extremely active in the data community and regularly sponsor and speak at multiple well-known events which you will have the opportunity to get involved in too!

In this role you will work across end-to-end projects, helping to solve advanced questions for some of the largest organisations in the world. Their team is spread across the UK, so you will work predominantly from home and travel to client site when required, as well as having company away days to connect with your colleagues.

To be a good fit for this role you should have experience with most of the below, but most importantly a real passion and enthusiasm for what you do!

Requirements:

* Strong experience with both SQL and Python and/or PySpark
* Apache Spark - Databricks would be ideal, or Microsoft Fabric
* Azure experience - including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics etc.
* Data Governance awareness
* Power BI development experience would be beneficial but not essential
* Experience working in line with DevOps methodologies
* Very strong communication and evident passion for what you do!

Data Consultant - Remote - £60,000

I am working with a Microsoft Partnered consultancy who are looking for a Data Consultant to join their growing team. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of client projects across a number of different industries such as retail, finance and the public sector.

In this role you will work with on-premise SQL Server and Azure technologies to ensure the timely delivery of data solutions to clients. You will work on a number of projects that will enable you to continually develop your existing skill set. You will be joining a people centered business, who invest heavily in its team and will be given the opportunity to explore other areas of technologies that may be of interest to you, including data science, machine learning and AI.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas.

* Create robust ETL solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Azure tech stack
* The migration of client data solutions from on-premise to Azure

* Support clients throughout the project life cycle



This is a salaried role paying up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience and a company benefits package. This is a predominantly a home-based role with occasional fully expensed visits to client sites as and when required. You will also commute to company retreats once per quarter to meet other members of the team.



To be successful in the role you will have.

* Strong data warehousing experience
* Experience designing and implementing ETL solutions with SSIS.
* Coding experience with languages such as SQL.
* Experience working with the Azure tech stack would be beneficial
* Excellent communication skills

A growing Microsoft Consultancy are looking for a number of Data Consultants to join their impressive team. You will work from home, with some element of travel to client sites when required, and to company conferences and events. For this reason, they're able to consider candidates across the UK.

This role sits within the specialist Data & AI practice within the company - focused on providing cutting-edge data solutions to their varied client base, predominantly on Azure.

You'll work as part of an Agile team, working on exciting projects end-to-end, from requirement gathering right through to delivering end-user training. As such, you will be someone who enjoys being both technically hands-on as well as using your softer skills to articulate complex ideas to stakeholders and build trusting relationships.

Example projects may involve: designing and implementing robust ETL solutions, designing and implementing data lakes with a medallion design approach, and migrating on-premises data solutions to Azure.

This role would be really well-suited to a Data Engineer or BI Developer looking to take their first-step into Consultancy, or a Consultant who is ready for the next step in their career - being a Microsoft Partner, they are committed to supporting you through your Microsoft Certifications with a huge emphasis on personal and professional development!

Quest Migration Consultant - MS Gold Partner

York (Hybrid / Remote) - Up to £70K

I'm working with a well-established Microsoft Gold Partner who have two exciting opportunities for Quest Migration Consultants. It's a challenging time for the business, they have won some exciting new projects including a health sector merger and on-going migration projects for some of their other key customers. They have a strategic alliance with Quest which means they have direct access to key personnel / resources helping the successful project delivery. This has resulted in them having an excellent track record of successfully scoping, winning, and delivery complex MAD (Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures) projects, and won numerous awards on the back of this.

The role will be delivering migration projects within Windows Server AD DS and M365 environments. It will be reporting into their M365 Practice Lead who is very professional, but down to earth person who enjoys discussing anything technical. In terms of experience they will be looking for the following;

Essential Skills:

* Proven history of Microsoft Windows Server AD DS cross-forest / cross-domain migrations (full project lifecycle).
* Proven history of M365 tenant to tenant migrations (full project lifecycle).
* Good working experience of Windows Server AD DS and core infrastructure services.
* Good working experience of Microsoft M365 and Azure AD / Entra ID.
* Basic working experience of core data services including Exchange Server / Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, etc.
* Quest ODM AD / 365 experience

Not essential but nice to have:

* Working experience of ShareGate and SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) would be beneficial
* Quest technical certifications in Quest ODM AD, Quest ODM 365 and Quest Domain Move
* Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
