About Us:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced DevOps/Linux Engineer to join our team for a fixed-term contract of initially 6 months. While our preferred location is Stockholm, we are open to considering remote work arrangements for the ideal candidate.
Role & Responsibilities:
As a DevOps/Linux Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud solutions based on OpenStack and supporting Microservices written in Java that run on Gigaspace's XAP. Your responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill infrastructure and deployment needs.
* Implementing and managing cloud-based solutions using OpenStack.
* Ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of systems.
* Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Ansible and Jenkins.
* Configuring and optimizing Apache, Envoy, and TICK-Infra for load balancing, monitoring, and metrics.
* Managing ELK-Infra for logging and analytics.
* Supporting and maintaining Kafka, Zookeeper, Gitlab, MongoDB, GlusterFS, AWX, Nexus, and Bareos.
* Administering CentOS/RHEL systems and Yumrepo for OS package management.
* Managing Elasticsearch and Capacitor for data storage and processing.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a DevOps or Linux engineering role, ideally in a financial sector or similar environment.
* Strong proficiency in cloud technologies, especially OpenStack.
* Solid experience with Microservices written in Java.
* Proficiency in Ansible for automation and Jenkins for continuous integration.
* Familiarity with Apache, Envoy, TICK-Infra, and ELK-Infra.
* Experience with Kafka, Zookeeper, Gitlab, MongoDB, GlusterFS, AWX, Nexus, and Bareos.
* Proficient in CentOS/RHEL administration and Yumrepo management.
* Knowledge of Elasticsearch and Capacitor.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
