My esteemed client is currently seeking a Dynamics AX/F&O Developer for a position based at their headquarters in Iowa. The organization is offering relocation assistance, and they encourage candidates eligible for TN Visa to apply!

The company, a leading player in the food manufacturing industry headquartered outside Des Moines, IA, has been in operation for nearly 25 years and is experiencing rapid growth. They have recently implemented D365 and are in search of a candidate to contribute to their internal development initiatives, go-live processes, system management, support, and other exciting projects. The preferred candidate will possess expertise in Dynamics AX, Dynamics 365, and X++ development.

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Developer will be tasked with overseeing the entire project lifecycle, encompassing the design, development, integration, and maintenance of database-driven applications. This involves programming, unit testing, documentation, and debugging of both front and back-end software applications, including working on existing applications and developing new ones.

The role allows for hybrid work, with the expectation of three days in the office per week, making it essential for candidates to be local to the Des Moines, IA area.

Position Responsibilities May Include:

* Developing customized Dynamics 365 solutions, configuring, and administering D365 F&O integrations and data management.
* Creating solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and industry-specific products and addons.
* Reviewing existing and new X++ code for performance and adherence to best practices.
* Managing code merges and deployments to productive systems.
* Leading and supervising one or more team members.
* Troubleshooting and resolving bugs.
* Identifying bottlenecks and enhancing software efficiency.
* Reviewing the work of other team members to ensure quality and consistency.
* Managing multiple projects.
* Adhering to Information System Technology Methodology standards and guidelines.
* Working within set company and unit standards, policies, and procedures.
* Maintaining an up-to-date technical knowledge of practical programming applications.
* Ensuring the confidentiality of processed information.
* Participating in a 24/7 support rotation.

Required Skills And Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Minimum of 6 years of prior Dynamics AX or D365 F&O experience in a similar consulting role.
* 6 years of experience in X++ development.
* 6 years of experience in C#.NET design and development.
* 5 years of experience in SQL Server and SQL Development.
* 5 years of experience in SSRS, X++ Reports, and Electronic Reporting Microsoft Reporting technologies.
* Minimum of 6 years of experience in Dynamics 365 ERP development, configuration, design, and implementation.
* Minimum of two full lifecycle ERP implementations leading a technical workstream.
* Experience with LCS, Azure DevOps, and Visual Studio.
* Strong grasp of security principles and their application to web applications.
* Strong Software Quality Assurance (QA) skills.
* Strong ability to debug applications in various software languages.
* Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner; able to work independently or within a team.
* Willingness to work occasionally outside normal business hours.

Preferred Skills And Experience:

* Experience mentoring junior developers.
