Title: Program Manager
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Length: 3 months on contract before conversion to full time
Location: Moses Lake, Washington - Relocation Assistance Available

Rate on Contract: $60-65/hr
Salary upon Conversion to full-time employee: 125k - 140k annually

Job Description

A long time client is looking for a Program Manager who has experience in construction projects or PP&E related projects as they look to grow out their PMO. The position if located in WA requires on-site, though they are open to relocation candidates with the expectation that they will be willing to visit the office a few times before relocating at the conversion date.

The role will involve managing projects from start to finish, using clear communication to see the project to completion.

Role & Responsibilities

* Ensure clear and consistent communication of project status, timelines, performance, and tasks to all involved parties.
* Track and manage resource allocation and budget, collaborating with stakeholders to make adjustments as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
* Use suitable project management tools to plan, monitor, direct, and escalate issues related to scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
* Develop and update executive-level reports, effectively summarizing project progress for senior leadership.
* Ensure alignment of programs with the company's long-term strategic goals.
* Recognize and manage dependencies across various projects, programs, products, and portfolios.
* Monitor program-related expenses and ensure proper control of operational costs.
* Contribute to the design, execution, and ongoing management of PMO processes, systems, and strategies that support MLI's global objectives.
* Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance MLI's capability to achieve its goals.
* Stay up to date with industry best practices and trends, applying this knowledge to enhance stakeholder effectiveness.
* Ensure full compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations.
* Commit to maintaining the integrity of MLI's Quality System and ISO Certification, ensuring procedures are followed.
* Perform additional duties as required to maintain a high-performance team.

Skills & Qualification

* Bachelor's degree or higher in a business-related discipline or a similar field.
* In-depth knowledge of project and program management principles for construction, commercial, and business improvement projects.
* Prior experience managing increasingly complex projects.
* Prior experience leading programs with budgets exceeding $10 million.
* Experience in ISO-compliant chemical, semiconductor, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
* Proven leadership experience in guiding and developing project teams.
* Proficient in interpreting technical, scientific, statistical, and quality improvement data.
* Skilled in using various project management software tools.
* Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office.
* Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (domestic and international).
* Demonstrated ability to:
