Senior Accountant - Hybrid - Harlem, NYC - $95K+

Job Description

A leading research company in the medical industry space with ties to global Health care organisations is on the lookout for a Senior Accountant to be based out of their Harlem office. This role would be hybrid in NYC 3 days a week and reports to the CFO. This role will coordinate all aspects of annual financial audits with external auditors as well as coordinate all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property and other applicable taxes in conjunction with external tax accountants. while assisting the Director of Finance and/or CFO on special projects as needed.

Qualifications

* At least 3 years experience as a an accountant with strong reconciliation background
* Experience in balance sheet oversight and monthly reconciling with a demonstrated knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices and the analysis and reporting of financial data
* Skilled in organising resources and establishing priorities, with demonstrated experience in project management
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently provide accurate and timely work product.
* Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV
* Any experience in Health care, Medical space would be great!
