Job Description: We are looking for a talented Embedded Linux Developer with strong experience in Yocto to join our team on a remote contract basis. As an Embedded Linux Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining embedded Linux systems, focusing on Yocto-based builds and customizations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of embedded solutions for our clients' projects.

Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain embedded Linux systems, primarily using Yocto Project.
* Customize Yocto-based builds to meet specific project requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and hardware/software interfaces.
* Conduct testing and debugging of embedded Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
* Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the development process.
* Write technical documentation and provide support to internal teams and clients.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Embedded Linux Developer with a strong focus on Yocto Project.
* Solid understanding of embedded systems, Linux kernel, and device drivers.
* Proficiency in Yocto-based build systems and customizations.
* Experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, and Jenkins.
* Strong programming skills in C/C++ and scripting languages like Python.
* Familiarity with hardware platforms, cross-compilation, and low-level debugging.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote team environment.

Contract Details: This is a remote contract position with a minimum project length of 6 months, starting in August. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work from their preferred location. We offer competitive compensation based on experience and expertise.
