I work at Nigel Frank on the Microsoft contract team. I have a client needing a Wintel engineer/ Wintel SME who can work a hybrid model with an immediate start date. Contract details:

* 3 months
* Inside IR35
* Hybrid - Wiltshire
* Active SC clearance needed

Roles and responsibilities



* My client is looking for a Wintel engineer with good experience of Microsoft and Virtulisation technology, experience of discovery, and migration of servers and VM's.
* Visit customers on site UK wide to carry-out consultancy, installations & support
Receive fault reports, diagnose, and provide solutions quickly.
* Provide Technical input into new opportunities.

Technical requirements needed for this position



* Extensive knowledge in Active Directory Domain, Federation and Certificate services
* In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems
* Experience deploying server & storage solutions, on premise and cloud
Exposure to virtualisation technologies such as Hyper-V & VMWare
* Track record of deploying and supporting core Windows services such as DHCP, DNS, IIS, and WDS
* In depth knowledge of system hardening using Group Policy

* Wintel/Windows Server - Windows Server ,Active Directory Domain & Federation services
Certificate Services / PKI

* DHCP, DNS, IIS & WDS
