In this remote role, you'll be reporting directly to the executive team, becoming an integral part of the company's decision-making process. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing current business trends and customizing the Business Central system to accommodate our rapidly changing environment.

As the Business Central Systems Administrator, your responsibilities will span a wide range of crucial tasks:
* Designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting the organization's computer systems, including operating systems, business applications, security tools, web servers, email systems, and user hardware (laptops, PCs).
* Swiftly resolving any system failures and efficiently troubleshooting issues.
* Upgrading and managing hardware and software components effectively.
* Conducting research on upcoming products, service protocols, and standards to support systems software procurement and development efforts.
* Installing and configuring local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and network segments and servers, such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems.
* Ensuring an uninterrupted internet connection and managing O365 for seamless email communication and file servers for data storage and management.
* Overseeing system performance and generating insightful reports.
* Managing user accounts, credentials, permissions, access rights, storage allocations, and active directory administration.
* Leading process improvements and modifications to enhance operational efficiency.
* Proactively securing system integrity against any potential breaches or viruses, playing a pivotal role in risk-mitigation planning, including the creation of backup plans, data safeguards, user security policies, and identity management.
* Maintaining high-level security and optimizing system efficiency.
* Developing and executing comprehensive backup and recovery plans.
* Maintaining internal documentation to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and collaboration.
* Providing technical support and training for staff to enable seamless adoption of new technologies and systems.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or in a similar role.
* Proven experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), patch management, and virtualization systems (VMware).
* Strong knowledge of network security and data backup/recovery best practices.
* Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms, including Windows and Linux.
* Resourcefulness and a natural aptitude for problem-solving.
* A BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator/Engineer (MCSA), CompTIA Server+, and VMware Certified will be advantageous.
