Systems Administrator Remote 95k+

A Dynamics NAV end user is seeking an Senior Systems Administrator to maintain and improve their current NAV system.

In this role, you will be reporting directly into the executive team and become an integral part of company decision making, by analyzing current business trends and customizing the NAV system to accommodate business needs in a rapidly changing environment.

You will be working within a built-out technology team, including members focused around CRM, BI, Networking, and Infrastructure. This organization values individual growth development, and offers many opportunities to learn new technologies and processes within the business.

Your New Role Will Involve

* Design, organize, modify, and support an organization's computer systems, including operating systems, business applications, security tools, web servers, email systems, and user hardware (laptops, PCs).
* Quickly resolve any system failures and troubleshoots issues.
* Upgrade and manage hardware and software.
* Research upcoming products, service protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts.
* Install and configure local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and network segments and servers, such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems.
* Ensure an uninterrupted internet connection and manages O365 for sending and receiving emails and file servers for saving and managing data.
* Oversee system performance and report generation.
* Manage user accounts, credentials, permissions, access rights, storage allocations, and active directory administration.
* Lead process improvements and modifications.
* Secure system integrity from any breaches or viruses and play an essential role in risk-mitigation planning, including creating backup plans, safeguards for data, user security policies, and identity management.
* Ensure high-level security and efficiency.
* Develop and execute backup and recovery plan.
* Maintain internal documentation.
* Offer technical support and training for staff.

What You Will Need

* 3+ years experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
* Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management and virtualization systems (VMware)
* Knowledge of network security and data backup/recovery
* Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (Windows and Linux)
* Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
* BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator/Engineer (MCSA)), CompTIA Server+, and VMware Certified is a plus
* US Citizenship
