Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake, Databricks, Data Warehousing, Python)
Location: Oslo, Norway (In-office presence required for several days weekly)

Role and Responsibilities: As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing data pipelines and data warehousing solutions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient data models and pipelines.
* Architecting and developing data solutions on cloud platforms, with a strong focus on Snowflake and Databricks.
* Designing and maintaining data warehousing and ETL processes to ensure the availability and accessibility of high-quality data.
* Developing Python scripts and tools to automate data processing tasks and optimize data workflows.
* Ensuring data security, integrity, and compliance with data governance and best practices.
* Troubleshooting and optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer, with a focus on Snowflake, Databricks, data warehousing, and Python development.
* Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data architecture.
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
* Proficiency in SQL and other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.
* Familiarity with data governance and best practices in data management.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to work.
* Effective communication skills. Norwegian language skills are preferred but English speakers are welcome to apply.
