BI Developer/ Data Engineer - Remote

I am working with a well-established , market leading organisation in the financial services industry who are looking for a Business & Data professional to join their team. This role sits within the data engineering team, you will be working closely with Senior Data Engineers and Architects. As well as working on data-focused projects, you will also liaise with their Data Science, Digital and Systems teams to deliver cross-functional projects giving you exposure to a wide range of technologies.



As part of this role, you will be using your end-to-end development experience to deliver various enterprise level data solutions using Microsoft technologies. This may involve data warehouse development, data integration and reporting amongst others. In doing so, you'll be able to support data-driven decision making, and allow this industry-leading company to provide truly best in class experiences for their customers!



This is a salaried role paying between £45,000 and £55,000 per annum depending on experience. This role is can be hybrid or fully remote with offices in either London or Maidenhead. There is also a company benefits package on offer which includes bonus of up to 10%, pension, private medical insurance plus much more!



To be successful in the role you will have

* Strong SQL and T-SQL Development experience
* Experience with SSIS for building data pipelines and integration
* Experience with SSRS or Power BI for developing reports
* Experience with SSAS would be desirable but not essential
* Data Warehouse Development experience
* Any experience with Azure would be beneficial but not essential e.g. Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, CosmosDB, Synapse Analytics etc.
