Data Engineering Lead - Hybrid - London

I am currently working with a market leading organisation in the travel industry. They are heavily invested in expanding their data and analytics team with a view to being more data driven. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape their data transformation with their new Data Centre of Excellence to drive the adoption of data-led decisions across the business. They are keen to hear from people who are enthusiastic about their work and want to work for an expanding international company.

You will be managing a small team of Data Engineers. You will be providing end-to-end solutions, working with a range of the latest technologies, liaising with departments across the business to design and implement these solutions.

This is a salaried role paying up to £80,000 depending on experience. You can expect a comprehensive benefits package which includes training and progression opportunities, holiday allowance plus so much more.

My client offer a friendly and collaborative work environment and pride themselves on being people orientated. This role is based in London and offers a hybrid working arrangement to allow their employees to achieve a healthy work/life balance whilst maintaining a positive work environment.

I am looking for the following experience…

(Not necessarily all of the below but a good mixture)

* Experience managing/mentoring junior team members
* End-to-end data engineering experience
* Experience with Azure Technology Stack - Data Factory, Data Lake, Data Bricks, Synapse
* Snowflake
* Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
* Strong communication skills

This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic organisation as they build out their data and analytics team to drive their business forward. The successful applicant can expect to be working alongside experts in their field and help shape the way they use their data.

This is just a brief overview of the role. For the full information, simply apply to the role with your CV, and I will call you to discuss further. Interviews for this role are starting this week, so don't miss out, APPLY now!
