A brand new opportunity has become available for a SQL Server Developer looking to take the next steps in their career. This would be working within a x3 Gold Certified Microsoft Partnered managed services provider who specialise in DBA and SQL Development work.

Within this role, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside some top talent in the industry, including reporting into a Microsoft MVP! You'll therefore be constantly learning and improving your skill-set from working with the people around you - however they also offer more formal training opportunities and the chance to gain Microsoft Certifications paid for by the company. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone at the start of their career who are looking to quickly up-skill and advance themselves.

As they also look to build out their BI & Analytics teams, there will be significant opportunities for progression and they can offer a wide range of pathways - whether this be continuing down the managed services route and becoming a SQL expert, or moving into a more BI focused role in the future.

This role will be working on a fully remote basis, with occasional office meet-ups for Christmas & Summer events - however you must be a UK resident. Unfortunately we're unable to offer sponsorship for this role, and you must have the full, unrestricted right to work in the UK.



What we're looking for -

We're open to speaking with a wide range of candidates of varying levels - all we ask is that you have a real passion for SQL & data! Skills that would be beneficial to the role include:

* Strong SQL & T-SQL experience - with a good understanding of querying data, writing queries and understanding how pre-written queries can be changed and improved
* Experience with performance tuning
* A good understanding of database structures
* Experience with either PowerShell, Python or SSIS for moving data
* Excellent communication skills - as this will be a client facing role
