Business Intelligence Developer

We've partnered with a global organisation to find a talented, well-rounded BI Developer to join the business and support with their BI and Data function. With offices across the globe, this manufacturer currently operates across 12 counties and is a market leader.

This role will involve taking lead of the BI function across the business, working closely with a range of departments including sales, finance and liaising with C-Suite stakeholders - therefore excellent communication and the ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of non-technical stakeholders will be key.

In this position you will have the opportunity to have full influence and autonomy over your own work - and will have the opportunity to get involved in an upcoming project to build a brand new data warehouse on Snowflake.

With offices based in the Slough area, we're looking for someone who is able to travel to the office once a month as a minimum - however if you're keen on working in an office environment, you're able to increase this to once a week/several times a week etc.



Skill-Set -

This role will heavily involve working with Power BI and doing BI Development, therefore we're ideally looking for people with a good mix of the below skills. Not all skills stated below are essential, but may be beneficial to the role:

* Power BI reporting experience (essential)
* ETL experience using SSIS (essential)

* Data Warehousing experience
* Working with SSRS for reporting and SSAS
* Experience with DAX and Power Query
* Strong communication skills
* Experience working with stakeholders from a range of departments
