Azure Cloud Engineer- 100% remote- SA

We are working for an Award Winning Microsoft Partner, based in South Africa, who are looking to grow their high quality Azure Engineering division.

For this role we are looking for a certified Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer, to succeed you will need experience and detailed knowledge of Azure Network design, delivery, and implementation.

You will be passionate about technology, troubleshooting, learning, and providing guidance and knowledge transfer to your colleagues.

You will also be required to manage relevant internal processes that fall in line with the responsibilities of the role. You must possess customer-facing skills that enable you to represent this company effectively and drive discussions with senior employees, clients, and partners.



What you will need to succeed

For this role we are looking for someone with previous experience in an IT Solution Provider or MSP environment, with in-depth knowledge in troubleshooting and the hunger progress

Experience supporting and troubleshooting complex environments.

A passion to play with technology and understand how things work.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.

You will have excellent client service skills, experience in taking calls professionally, dealing with time critical issues efficiently as well as being enthusiastic about expanding your technical knowledge.

Required Skills

* AZ-700 certification (Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions)
* Operational knowledge of LAN/WAN config and design, Routing, Switching, Firewalls
* Azure Cloud Platform (IAAS/PAAS servers and storage, Azure Backup, ARM template automation, Azure Load balancers, Application Gateway)
* 3+ years' Azure Network experience with a proven track record of designing and implementing Azure networks
* In-depth routing protocols knowledge
* Azure configuration, design, implementation, and support experience
* Firewall experience (Azure, Cisco, Palo)
* Topology designing and documenting
* Pre-sales; this role will include meeting and working with clients to design and cost solution
