his is a remote position will require travel at specified times to our sites during conference room pilots, user acceptance testing and go live timeframes during the implementation.

Responsibilities:
* Actively participate in the first implementation of D365 Finance and Operations. Work with external vendor that will be assisting with first rollout to help understand the setup, configure, and test the system. After the first rollout is complete, lead the internal team during the second implementation (with some consulting presence).
* Become extremely knowledgeable in the setup and configuration and establish gold standard of D365 Finance and Operations. Document global standards and streamline the process to set up and configure companies that are moving onto the D365 platform, so it can be a repeatable process.
* Collaborate with businesses and users to prepare & manage objectives, scope, project plan, timeline, budget, & resource plan for D365 Business Central implementations.
* Hire, train and monitor performance of IT professionals to be part of the implementation team to rollout D365.
* Manage effective transition of requirements to delivery team, ensuring a clear & complete understanding of requirements.
* Facilitate weekly status meetings with business teams. Maintain budget, weekly status reports, issue lists and communication plans.
* Leveraging technology expertise and prior experience, translate business processes, master data and other operational requirements into requirements.
* Meet with decision makers, system owners and end users to define business, financial and operations requirements and system goals and identify and resolve system issues.
* Establish support structure once live at time, complete closeout of project and lessons learned.
* Maintain systems documentation by writing and updating procedures.
Requirements (education, experience, travel):
1. College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, operations, computer science, accounting or management information systems and 8-10 years of related work experience.
2. Previous ERP experience in implementation of Microsoft AX, or similar ERP.
3. Previous Project Management experience required.
4. Some work experience, such as a manufacturing, financial, or supply chain analyst or controller in a manufacturing environment.
5. Excellent written and oral communication with acute attention to detail.
6. Sense of urgency to complete activities during implementation as well as when supplying support
7. Comfortable travelling to business sites and working with teams to complete implementations.
8. Some basic programming skills to pull data out of system.
9. General knowledge of network, PC operations system, network hardware, protocol, and standards.
10. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
11. Able to travel domestically with a travel requirement based on implementation schedule (10 - 50% of time)
Physical Demands:
* Must be able to communicate telephonically and electronically with team members and customers.
* Must be able to hear/understand/speak with team members at all levels within a diverse workforce.
* Must be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations, including the ability to travel by air/auto to remote sites.
* Must be able to work in front of a personal computer for extended periods of time.
* Must be able to lift documents/work materials up to 50 pounds in weight.
Work Environment/Conditions:
* The majority of the work is conducted in an office setup connecting on network to manage/administer the applications.
