Our client is a rapidly growing Dynamics NAV end user in the industrial products sector, who and is in need of a NAV professional to manage their system in addition to working alongside their CEO on overseeing day to day operations.

The organization is a large national organization with branches all throughout the United States, and has been experience a period of rapid growth over the past decade, With this growth has come the need to advance current IT and ERP processes in order to promote technology efficiency across multiple departments, and provide the necessary infrastructure needed for corporate expansion.

Operations Responsibilities:

* Direct operations including field operations, process and systems development.
* Assures the timely follow-up of strategic and operational plans.
* Support the global needs of CEO to drive business growth and strategic initiatives; balances these directives with effective management and development of responsible staff, optimization of internal/cost controls and enhancement of processes
* Advise on desirable operational adjustments.
* Oversight on quality control processes throughout the company
* Provide leadership on goal setting and action planning
* Implementation of a standard costing model to assure operational efficiency
* Responsible for the development of the design, operations and improvement of the systems.
* Work with department heads with plans for the upcoming year, including productivity goals.
* Improve operating procedures to increase profits and/or make the organization more efficient.

IT/ERP Responsibilities:

* Lead functional support on the organization's Dynamics NAV system
* Act as the internal project manager on an upcoming upgrade from NAV to D365 Business Central
* Coordinate between C-Level stakeholders on understanding their needs, gathering requirements, and design upgrades to improve the system
* Work with the organization's Microsoft reseller on any upgrades/projects
* Support and troubleshoot user issues
* Assist with reporting measures using BI tools such as SQL and Jet Reports

What you'll need:

* Experience on Dynamics NAV highly preferred
* Leadership background within distribution, consumer products, office supplies, 3PL, or other similar industry organization
* Prior working experience in purchasing, logistics, customer service, and inventory management
* Expertise in warehousing and distribution processes
* Excellent communication skills
* Proven record of maintaining and improving operational efficiency within a fast-paced environment
* Entrepreneurial, go-getter personality
