Our client is a government contractor in the manufacturing and supply chain space who has recently gone through an acquisition and is making a heavy investment in their IT infrastructure.

Get ready to join an applications team that has been growing in recent years in preparation for an upcoming systems upgrade to Dynamics 365 Business Central. This is an amazing opportunity for NAV professionals looking to get their foot in the door with BC, as well as with other cloud technologies like Azure and Power BI.

Your new role will involve:

* Responding to support tickets and resolving issues within various software applications, most notably Dynamics NAV ERP
* Participating in the full life cycle of software development activities
* Work with business users to define requirements and use cases for new initiatives for NAV, Lanham and complimentary products.
* Perform all code changes in accordance with Microsoft NAV architectural best practices
* Provide direction on opportunities to improve our implementation and usage of NAV and Lanham to drive business improvements
* Document all development processes

What you'll need:

* Experience with Business Central and/or NAV ERP systems preferred
* Functional knowledge of accounting, manufacturing, and/or warehousing processes
* Experience with generating reports using SSRS or Power BI
* Systems Administration background with the ability to troubleshoot system errors and help with server setup/support
* The ability to communicate well with users as well as non-technical personnel
* Programming experience with C/AL, .NET, SQL, or JavaScript is a plus
