Responsibilities:
As a Software Embedded Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing software solutions that power a diverse range of industry-leading devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect, implement, and optimize embedded software systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of innovation, performance, and security.
* Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to define software requirements and system architecture for embedded solutions.
* Design and develop software components for multimedia, communications, cybersecurity, and other embedded systems.
* Lead the technical direction of projects, making critical architectural decisions and ensuring alignment with project goals.
* Optimize software for performance, memory, and power consumption.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and debug software issues.
* Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
Required Experience:
* Proven experience as a software architect for embedded systems.
* Web application background or knowledge as they would be developing web applications for embedded devices mainly using JavaScript, HTML5, React, CSS.
* Proficiency in C / C++ / Kernel experience + RTOS.
* Web socket experience.
* DevOps skills in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, S3.
* Strong understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded software development tools.
* Flexibility and capability for broad software architecture thinking.
* Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts.
