Lead Software Engineer (Python) - London

My client are an exciting software consultancy who are going through a strategic period of growth due to winning a large volume of projects this year!

They're SME's in the public sector space and are experts in the Cyber Security, Data & AI space, working with clients in the National Security, Telecomms, Healthcare and Law Enforcement areas.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll work in the full e2e software development lifecycle designing, developing and implementing complex software solutions that meet their client' needs.



You'll need to have in-depth knowledge of most of the below to be considered for this role:

* Experience working as a software engineer within a consultancy setting
* Good experience working with programming language such as Python, Java, C++, Rust and Go
* Experience with DevOps principles and best practices (CI/CD, Dockerisation, Containerisation, Orchestration)
* Familiar with software engineering best practices and principles (TDD, BDD, Agile delivery)
* Experience working in cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)
* Some knowledge of security best practices and principles
