Staff Accountant with D365 BC-Chicago, IL-$80,000

Job Description

Our client is hiring a Staff Accountant to join our team. This company is an ideal place to grow your career. A leader in their industry with sales in every developed continent, they are expanding their operations and growing. This is a Hybrid work position, 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home.

Role & Responsibilities

* Prepare vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records, and reviews for accuracy.
* Analyzes vendor accounts and negotiates extended terms with vendors as appropriate.
* Codes and Posts Invoices to proper General Ledger Accounts.
* Prepares invoices for weekly payment. Payments are made by Check, ACH, Wire and BillPay.
* Prepares and accounts for customer deposits.
* Prepares analysis of accounts, as needed

Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
* Minimum 0-3 years accounting experience
* Understanding of general accounting processes and principles, specifically in Accounts Payable
* Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central highly desired
