Senior Back End Developer - Remote

The Company and Opportunity

I am currently recruiting for a four senior back end .Net Developer to join my client that is a global payments company, who are currently scaling extensively within their tech team. My client is looking to build two teams from scratch within the .Net space, so this is a great opportunity to have influence on the direction of the business within the web, mobile and windows space.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Participate in backlog grooming sessions to plan workable solutions
* Design and build new projects from the ground up
* Write code that is readable, maintainable and reusable
* Ensure that the code complies with original requirements through demonstrations and reviews
* Provide system support to 2nd line support team
* Mentor junior and intermediate developers
* Manage own professional, self-development as well as pushing the team to use the latest industry standards
* Code reviews of peers

Requirements

* 5-10 years' experience as an enterprise C#, ASP.NET .NET and SQL Server developer (Essential)
* Experience with .NET Core (Essential)
* Practical experience implementing solutions with Microsoft SQL Server as the datastore
* Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
* AWS (Desireable)
* Experience in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (Desireable)
* Experience in working with Microservices (Desirable)
* Formal program
