Freelance Azure DevOps Engineer (Containerization Focus)

About the Company:

We are a leading provider of Azure DevOps and containerization consulting services. We are passionate about helping our clients to adopt and implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of containerized applications. We are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team on a freelance/consultant basis.

Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of containerized applications
* Work with developers and product managers to understand and implement their requirements, including containerization requirements
* Automate infrastructure and code deployments using IaC tools such as Terraform or Bicep
* Monitor and troubleshoot Azure DevOps pipelines and deployments
* Collaborate with other engineers to improve the company's DevOps and containerization practices

Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps
* Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices
* Experience with Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, and Azure Artifacts
* Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Bicep
* Experience with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
* Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bonus Points:

* Experience with Azure DevOps extensions
* Experience with Azure Key Vault and Azure Active Directory
* Experience with Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics
* Experience with Azure Policy and Azure Governance
* Experience with Azure DevOps security practices
* Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
* Experience with container management tools such as Helm and Skaffold



Specifics for a containerisation focused role:

* Experience with containerizing and deploying applications to Kubernetes
* Experience with container registries such as Docker Hub and Azure Container Registry
* Experience with container orchestration best practices
* Experience with container security best practices
