Freelance Azure Site Reliability Engineer


We are a Swedish manufacturing company looking for a Freelance Azure Site Reliability Engineer to help us manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. As an Azure SRE, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and scalability of our cloud-based systems, as well as providing support for any issues that may arise.


* Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure to support our manufacturing operations
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
* Ensure the reliability and availability of our cloud-based systems through proactive monitoring and maintenance
* Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline system management tasks
* Collaborate with our development teams to ensure the scalability of our cloud infrastructure as our business grows
* Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning
* Implement and maintain security controls to protect our cloud-based systems and data
* Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures


* At least 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering, with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure
* Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and related technologies, including Azure Resource Manager, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Virtual Machines
* Strong knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing
* Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure Automation, or Terraform
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
* Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred

This is a freelance position with an estimated commitment of 40 hours per week. The position is remote, but candidates must be based in Sweden and able to work during standard business hours.
