Data Warehouse Architect

I am working with a well-established consultancy in central Copenhagen to find a skilled Data Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data pipeline infrastructure that powers our organisation. This includes designing and implementing data storage solutions, data integration and ETL processes, and data quality and governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and implement data storage solutions, including data warehousing, big data platforms, and cloud-based storage solutions
* Build and maintain data pipelines using ETL and ELT processes
* Implement data quality and governance practices to ensure data accuracy and completeness
* Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and design solutions to meet those needs
* Continuously monitor and optimise data pipeline performance and scalability
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends in data engineering

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data engineering role
* Strong knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language (Python etc.)
* Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, etc
* Experience with cloud-based data storage and computing platforms (preferably Azure)
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
