Job Description

The role of the Business analyst is to be responsible for mapping all the clients business processes to IT solution features and functions from a current state perspective as well as maintaining a future-focussed view.

Role & Responsibilities

* Be recognised as the Subject Matter Expert across the clients Group for business processes and how they are enabled by each IT solution.
* Identify and assess the need for process and system improvements, contributing to their continuous improvement by transparent prioritisation, and balancing costs with functionality.
* Facilitation of workshops that enable collaboration and consistency across the the client.
* Maintain relationships across all business units in the organisation, ensuring documented business processes are always current.
* Maintain a future-focussed perspective, delivering agreed outcomes by coordinating and managing resources effectively.
* Work with the business to resolve issues where a fit for purpose gap has been identified.
* SME for Data Mapping and Modelling, ensuring documentation is maintained that enables robust test data models to be executed.
* Contribute as a leader on UAT activities, ensuring outcomes have traceability back to business requirements.
* Deliver system walkthrough presentations, i.e. showcasing Microsoft D365 F&O's capabilities and how they enable business requirements.
* Deliver training as required to business stakeholders and IT resources, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.
* Comply with the organisations quality, environmental and health and safety procedures so as to proactively develop a culture of, continuous quality improvement and the provision of a healthy and safe workplace, ensuring that all practical steps are taken to meet current Worksafe AU requirements.
* Provide professional and ethical behaviour in your actions ensuring compliance with legislation and industry standards.
* Ensure you are familiar with and comply with all organisational policies and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

* 5-7+ years' experience in managing and planning medium to large-scale projects.
* MS Dynamics 365 CE, F&O experience is essential
* ERP implementation background.
* Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience within the Wholesale/Distribution sector
* D365 ERP and CRM implementation background
* Experience in implementing Master planning, Demand forecasting, and Warehouse Management solutions
