Microsoft Systems / Network Lead

Job Overview This position is most suitable for a senior systems/network engineer with a background in Microsoft servers, small to mid-market business networks, cybersecurity, and datacenter operations, who likes to be hands-on and work with a team. Duties and Responsibilities * Migrate clients to private cloud solutions in datacenter, MS365, Azure, or AWS * Build, update, and repair on-premise and cloud servers * Set up and maintain network equipment at client sites * Fine tune N-able's N-central RMM solution for top performance * Setup cloud backups with N-able Cove Backup Management, and maintain backup mirrors in the datacenter * Assess and work with a broad range of technologies including LAN/WAN, VPN, Messaging, IDP, and overall network and systems management * Perform management and SQL/Linux maintenance for hosted websites and databases * Assist sales team in identifying, quoting, and closing project opportunities * Serve as escalation resource for helpdesk support techs Skills & Qualifications * Degree in Computer Science (or a related field--college transcript required), or relevant work experience * Microsoft Solution Certifications (e.g., Windows 2019) or experience necessary to achieve same * 15+ years of technical experience with increasing responsibility * Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL Server, SharePoint, MS365, Skype for Business/Teams, Hyper-V, Azure and AWS hosting environments Additional Skills, a Plus! * Network hardware configuration (Extreme, Juniper, F5) or aptitude to learn same and achieve certification * SharePoint administration * Qualys network scanning, or aptitude to learn same and achieve certification * Linux Personal Qualifications * Productive, positive team player * Leader and mentor * Dependable and on-time * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Resilient and customer-focused Transportation & Physical Requirements * Medium work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. * Must have a good driving record. Company cars are available for support visits, but a reliable automobile is required in case company cars are in use by others. * Occasional travel may be required.
