Governance, Security and Compliance Engineer - Hybrid (London)- Up to £75,000

My clients are major players in carbon fiber and resin production with offices spread across America, Asia and Europe. They are looking for a Security and Compliance Engineer to add to their team.

I am looking for candidates with cyber security and network experiences to take on the responsibilities for this position. The ideal candidate will have previous experiences in a security and compliance role. Technical knowledge of infrastructure environments and standards

This is permanent position offering up to £75,000 for the ideal candidate. Role & Responsibilities

* Research, design, and implement information security solutions for organisation systems and products that comply with all applicable security policies and standards.
* Maintaining information security policies, architectures, and standards
* Assist in responding to audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
* Participation in the information security governance structure including alignment with the Corporate Risk program, IT Governance Committee and IT Leadership team.
* Assist Infrastructure and Applications teams to remain compliant with cyber / information security policy and practices.

Skills & Qualifications

* Cybersecurity specific certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional and/or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) preferred.
* Technical expertise in security knowledge, to include VPN, Firewall, network monitoring, intrusion detection & prevention, web server security, wireless security and cloud security.
* Strong knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques.
* Experience vetting and securing development code repositories and supply chains.
* Experience with Microsoft and cybersecurity tools, monitoring systems and alert frameworks.
