Job Description

A Microsoft Gold partner is currently looking for a hands-on SOC Analyst to come in and join their growing team of experts. The client is looking for someone with a keen interest in Cyber security as they will offer training and career progression opportunities in this role.

Role & Responsibilities

* Receipt and categorisation of initial event, incident and requests from customers.
* Investigation of event alerts and liaising with the customer to confirm closure.
* Provide initial triage and trigger escalation/assignment as appropriate.

Skills & Qualifications

* Ability to install security software and applications.
* Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure such as networks, the Microsoft 365 suite, Azure Active Directory, Windows Server and Active Directory.
* Understanding of Information Security principles.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Previous experience in a SOC or security team (Desired).
