Engineer - Python - Bergen

Do you have a background in software or data engineering and proficiency in Python?

We are looking for you to join an established team in Bergen using AI to optimise the aquaculture industry!

We provide meaningful insights through a range of products and solutions tailored for the aquaculture industry, presenting real-time and future predictions of key factors to inform decision-making

We seek to make simple solutions which address complex challenges in the industry whilst contributing towards environmental sustainability

As part of the development team, your responsibilities can include the following:

* Develop and deploy data processing pipelines while collaborating closely with data scientists, engineers and analysts
* Develop and deploy APIs
* Develop tools and libraries which help us work better with data
* Contribute to enhancing data quality and reliability
* Develop continuous integration and delivery pipelines for our tools and services
* Containerise and deploy services to Kubernetes and cloud services

We expect the candidates to have the following:

* 3+ years of experience in developing backend services, preferably in python
* Experience in designing, developing, and deploying software
* Experience with one or more cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
* Expertise in SQL and good understanding of one or more NoSQL databases
* Experience with infrastructure automation tools
* Good English communication skills
