That is exactly what my client is adopting, they are looking to advance their workforce to include more Data specialists starting off with a new Data Scientist.



Working closely with the customer data to help deliver new avenues and direction, exploring new options which wouldn't be visible without deep analysis of the ever-growing data sets.

Responsibilities as a Data Scientist:

* Identify new opportunities to use Machine Learning methodologies
* Assess value, feasibility, viability, and usability for the use cases
* Design tests to validate assumptions early on
* Work closely with our UX & Researchers with customer segmentation
* Work with our data engineers to connect more data sources (internally as well as external) that will enhance our data science capabilities



Desired Skills:

* Hands on experience with SQL and Python
* Experience with Machine Learning libraries such as Pyspark, Pandas or Numpty
* knowledge of machine learning techniques such as SVMs, logistic regression, deep neural networks, cross-validation, naive bayes, feature extraction and a solid background in statistics
* Ambition and drive
