Data Engineer

A growing business based in the North-East of England are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join their team. This will be a hybrid role, where you'll likely come into their Cramlington office 2-3 days per week, so must live within a commutable distance.

This organisation are currently operating on the Azure platform, but are moving to AWS which will likely be completed around the start of November, making it an extremely exciting time to join the team.

You'll play a key role in building and maintaining data pipelines within the AWS ecosystem, focusing largely on the Delta Lakehouse Platform on Databricks. You'll work on data integration, transformation, modelling, quality and optimisation, whilst working closely with data analysts, scientists and other business stakeholders to deliver holistic solutions.

Requirements:

* Experience with Databricks & Delta Lakehouse architectures
* Experience with AWS services like Lambda, Kinesis and Glue
* SQL and Python programming skills
* ETL process development experience
* Data modelling experience
* Excellent communication

Benefits:

* Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience
* 22 days' holiday rising to 25 with length of service
