Business Analyst - Oslo

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the team and help bridge the gap between business and technology!

You will be joining an established Norwegian company in Oslo who deliver CRM, software, and analytics solutions to customers in a range of domains including finance, media, and energy, along with many public sector organisations

Based in-house, the analytics team work alongside customers to assess their current situation, and gather data & requirements to formulate a strategy

Your main goal is to translate these requirements into data-driven solutions which provide meaningful insights

Your responsibilities will include the planning, design and development of efficient business, financial and operational systems to support customers in their core functions and processes

To achieve this, you will assist in the gathering and analysing of data to support business cases, projects, and requirements

As a member of the team, you will bring some experience in a similar role, and act as a mentor in the team for more junior members - following best practice principles, and suggesting innovative & exploratory analytical techniques

We will require you to have strong communication skills as you build relationships with customers and colleagues alike - we work with customers for the long-term, and hope that you can be a consistent point of contact for them in their data journey

We are looking for you to bring a background in analytics, along with a solid business understanding to be able to formulate and communicate innovative solutions

Some of the skills and experiences we are looking for include:

* 3+years' experience in a business/analytical role
* Ability to take a consultative & advisory approach with stakeholders
* Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility for your role
* Experience working with data from different business domains
