Accounts Payable Officer - up to £40,000
10 month fixed term contract
My client are a privately owned innovative business, in the food industry with a turnover of over £55M and almost 2000 employees across the UK. My client is looking for a team player, possessing strong organisation skills with fine attention to detail. This role is perfect for the autonomous worker, with minimal supervision you will be self-motivated and enthusiastic.
This role is hybrid (3 days on site) - office based in Kent
Responsibilities will include
* Assisting with weekly BACS and internet payment processes
* Managing fixed assets including maintaining the fixed asset register and all purchase invoices
* Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned contracts
* Discussing performance against budget, budget preparation
* Supporting the review and validation of weekly bookwork from site, to include purchase invoices, stock values, site cash reconciliations, accruals & repayments and document retention
My client is looking for a candidate who can offer
* Experience managing a team
* Good organisation skills, with the ability to meet and prioritise work demands under pressure to meet tight deadlines
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, PIVOT tables, V-lookups)
* Dynamics NAV or D356 Business Central experience
